Dr. Audrey Chu is passionate about helping children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their dental visits. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and enjoyed many aspects of Midwestern life, which inspired her to pursue a career centered on community, family, and care. Dr. Audrey completed her undergraduate and dental training through Marquette University’s accelerated seven-year Dental Scholars program, earning both her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). She went on to complete her pediatric specialty training at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital and Family Health Center and is board-eligible through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
During her residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Audrey led a quality improvement initiative to increase dental sealant literacy among children and their families, designing multilingual educational materials to address disparities between English- and non-English-speaking populations. She also participated in community outreach through the Sunset Park health fairs and delivered interactive presentations at local elementary schools, teaching children about oral health and nutrition in engaging, age-appropriate ways.
Outside the office, Dr. Audrey enjoys spending time outdoors—running along Lake Michigan, hiking, and camping on the weekends. She is also an avid traveler, with memorable adventures including walking along the Great Wall of China, paragliding in Switzerland, and hiking Mt. Fuji.
