Dr. Casey was born in Brookfield, Wisconsin and went to Brookfield East High School before attending Loyola University Chicago for his undergraduate education. He graduated with honors in 2016 with a BS in Biology, and a minor in Bioethics. He attended Marquette University’s School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2020, before immediately attending a two-year post-graduate residency program specializing in pediatric dentistry at Indiana University and Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. He received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Masters Degree in Oral Science, as well as a minor in Psychology.
Dr. Casey’s research on the declining use of amalgam and the increasing use of esthetic dental restorations in children has been submitted for publication in the Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Casey also received extensive training in complex medical histories and trauma at Riley Children’s Hospital, one of fewer than 30 pediatric Level I trauma centers in the nation.
He has previously volunteered with Wisconsin’s Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile Day, and the Ronald McDonald Children’s House in Chicago. He is looking forward to getting back to coaching basketball and bocce ball with the North Suburban Special Olympics league now that he is moving back to Wisconsin. Dr. Casey has also made several lifelong friendships through Best Buddies, and is excited to be back home in Wisconsin to make more.
He is a strong advocate for children’s oral health, particularly those who have special healthcare needs and may have complex medical histories which complicate dental care. Dr. Casey was trained in preventive and minimally invasive techniques which can help make dental visits a fun and exciting experience for kids.
When not talking about Paw Patrol or PJ Masks in the office, Dr. Casey loves to chat about his favorite sports teams, the Bucks, Brewers, and Packers! He likes to travel with his wife, who is also a dentist, and learn about new cultures. Dr. Casey will also make an occasional balloon animal–lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Dr. Casey looks forward to working with your family and help your family have a phenomenal dental experience and overall excellent dental health.
