Dr. Lizzie is thrilled to be joining the team at The Kids Dentist! She was born in South Florida and grew up in both New York and Texas. She attended the University of Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience. Dr. Lizzie went on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. She continued her post-graduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she served as chief resident and earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Lizzie is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She has lectured on comprehensive care and dental trauma. Dr. Lizzie has conducted extensive research on dental interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Scheinthal has volunteered with Special Olympics and is passionate about working with individuals with special healthcare needs. She believes in the importance of educating children and families so that they may become empowered to care for their oral and systemic health.

When not at work Dr. Lizzie enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking. She and her fiancé are excited to relocate to the greater Milwaukee area and to explore all that the city has to offer.
