The Kids Dentist Sponsors Autism Awareness Walk/Run

The Kids Dentist in Mequon was proud to be a sponsor of the First Annual Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk in Kewaskum, WI. This fundraiser was put on by On The Spectrum Autism Support Group and was their first major fundraiser. Expecting just a 100 participants in their first run/walk, by race day, over 420 people were registered to participate.

Nikki Busalacchi served as the chairperson for this event and the team at The Kids Dentist was happy to support the cause. The On The Spectrum Autism Support Group provides needed scholarships to families with children who have been diagnosed with being on the spectrum of autism. Our doctors were among the hundreds of runners and were proud to participate in this first race.

We look forward to being part of and sponsoring this worthwhile event again next year.
